Fishing in 22-28 feet of water near Hay Island, Little Oak, and Four Block.

Fish headed toward spring pattern off rock reefs in the mud. Strong evening bite at Lake Trails in the shallows.

Sauger and Perch bite more prominent.

Walleye numbers have dropped overall, but lots of nice slot walleye being pulled in.

Average house catching 30-50 fish a day.

Looking forward to a strong finish to a great season!

We've been fishing the reefs and west bar of Little Oak in 24-29' of water.

Houses are averaging 40-70 fish a day; nice combination of Walleye, Sauger, and Perch.

Very little snow on the ice and the pressure ridge is still waging war on us. Other than that, very little to complain about!

Jason and Lisa,

I just wanted to send you guys a quick note and thank you for the first class service we received on our trip up there last week. Everything was top notch from the cabin we stayed in to the houses we fished in. By the way…. The comfortable chairs in the fish-house were an added plus!!

Our group was equally impressed with the friendly and helpful attitude of the guides running the Bombardiers, it’s obvious they enjoy what they do and they like to give every effort to ensure that the fisherman are happy and catching fish.

The new cleaning house is the bomb. It is perfect and we certainly enjoyed using it. Very nice improvement.

In the three days of fishing, I am conservative in saying that the four of us caught at least 250 walleyes and sauger, with most of them in the 15-18’ range, along with at least 40 of them in the “slot”.

I have attached a few photos as you had asked us to send you some. We will definitely be back next year, I would not consider going anywhere else!! referred a few people your wayJ

We're satisfied with the ice conditions. We will not be checking it again, as it will only get stronger for the duration of the season. Guide Joe Cooper took our first group out this morning. Will post results this evening...

Good, strong ice, but very rough.

After a couple years absence, major pressure ridges are rearing their ugly heads again. We've been breaking through one from Flag Island all the way to Four Block daily.

Without much snow, ice is extremely slippery. Boot cleats are advised.

Fishing is heating up!

Unlike the south side of the lake we have a consistent twelve inches of ice. We currently have 14 houses out on the ice with 11 more to come. Fishing in 15-24 feet of water with a constant day bite and a great evening bite in the shallow water.

Checked and marked trails today out to Lake Trails/Oak Point and Lunatic Island.

There is 9-10" for a span of 100 yds. on the south side of Minnesota Point. Everywhere else is 11-12".
